I began my career in retail management at an early age with varied responsibilities including purchasing and selling as well as negotiating significant contracts for major retailers in New England. I have also turned around a failing business within three years with strategic planning by implementing sales and marketing programs as well as branding niche services for a Boston based printing distributorship. In 1999 I moved to Vermont with my two sons to purchase and run an eight room bed and breakfast inn. However one of my greatest accomplishments has been to fundraise for the construction of the Rutland Regional Fieldhouse in Rutland Town, a dream come true for all in the region. I completely immersed myself in the community to accomplish this task and I’m now aware of the importance of having a strong sense of community and helping others to achieve their dreams.
